As part of its recent initiatives Works have been carried out at the Sidon – Siroub cemetery aimed at improving its infrastructure and enhancing the overall environment of the site in line with its sanctity.

The implemented works included the full preparation of the ablution area, including tiling, installation of mixers, and provision of hot water. Maintenance activities were conducted across the cemetery, including pruning trees and organizing green spaces, cleaning and maintaining graves, and sweeping and clearing internal roads and pathways.

Infrastructure improvements also included the construction of a retaining wall to enhance safety and prevent potential landslides. In addition, new graves were excavated according to approved standards.

Support facilities were also established, including the setup of a dedicated tent for the ghusl (washing) area to ensure the necessary services are available.
